The Winery at Bull Run's 2016 Petit Verdot boasts hints of black bramble fruit, cassis, and dried blueberries, alongside a whispter of dried fall leaves, on the nose. On the palate, flavors of red and black berries, cherries, cooking spices, and vanilla combine. The tannins are somewhat intense but well-integrated, giving this wine a full-mouth feel and long finish.
