Made with the Norton grapes grown right outside the Tasting Room, the 2019 Estate Norton hits the nose with scents of ripe cherries, cinnamon, cloves, and Cola, finishing with a hint of dark chocolate. Surprisingly smooth, the palate is greeted with the flavors of raspberries, blackberries and tart cherries with slightly grippy tannins. The 2019 Estate Norton has a long finish with lingering acidity. Winemaker Ashton Lough blended the 2019 Estate Norton with 20% of Merlot Reserve wine for roundness on the mid-palate and a longer finish.
