Varietals: 67% Grenache Noir, 20% Syrah, 13% Mourvedre

With notes of Bing cherries, spiced plums and rhubarb on the nose, the 2019 GSM blend is quite different from its 2018 predecessor. The change from Grenache Gris grapes in the 2018 to Grenache Noir in the 2019 brings out hints of wood smoke, and a touch of lemon and lime on the nose. The palate brings flavors of wildflowers and candied red fruit, with subtle notes of ginger, and a medium- to full-bodied mouth feel. The 2019 GSM is a unique new blend, featuring a long finish with balanced, lingering tannins.
