Description

One whiff of the 2020 Petit Verdot is like smelling a bouquet full of blooming wildflowers. The nose of this vintage is full of the pleasant aromas of Aster, Queen Anne’s Lace, Cone flowers, and violets, alongside baked plums and hints of cedarwood. The palate of this wine is medium to full bodied with light astringency. One can detect flavors of ripe raspberries and pomegranates, with subtle notes of acai, baking spices, and cedarwood. The 2020 Petit Verdot has grippy tannins that stick to the roof of one’s mouth, and a silky, satiny finish, with hints of black peppercorn.

Pairs well with: A mushroom risotto, white fish in a cream sauce, pork tenderloin, duck, and brown butter carrots.
